Hope for Coffee Welcomes Jessie Copcutt as Program Manager

Hope for Coffee is excited to share a meaningful update: Jessie Copcutt officially joined the Hope for Coffee team in November 2025 as our Program Manager.

As our work continues to grow in response to the ongoing recovery needs following Hurricane Helene, adding a dedicated Program Manager is a big step forward. Jessie’s role helps strengthen the day-to-day coordination that keeps projects moving, supports partners and volunteers, and ensures families receive consistent, compassionate follow-through.

Meet Jessie Copcutt

Jessie is originally from Jacksonville, Florida, and discovered her calling in the nonprofit world early through hands-on volunteer experiences and community service. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of South Florida in 2020, then stepped straight into nonprofit work at an optometry clinic providing free, sight-saving care to families who otherwise wouldn’t have access.

In April 2025, Jessie and her family moved to Douglas, Georgia—and when she learned about the devastation Hurricane Helene left behind in Coffee County, she didn’t hesitate. She wanted to get to work and serve right away.

While Jessie may be new to Douglas, her heart is fully invested here. She cares deeply about her new community, friends, and neighbors, and she brings both compassion and capability to the daily work of recovery.

What a Program Manager Means for the Mission

Recovery doesn’t happen in one moment—it’s built through steady leadership, consistent systems, and people who show up every day to carry the weight with excellence.

As Program Manager, Jessie will help support:

  • Project coordination and progress tracking

  • Volunteer and outreach support

  • Day-to-day operations that keep the mission moving

  • Communication follow-through so families aren’t navigating recovery alone

This hire reflects what we’re committed to at Hope for Coffee: serving Coffee County with integrity, structure, and a long-term vision of restoration.

We’re Grateful Jessie Is Here

Jessie’s passion for serving others and her heart for community connection align beautifully with Hope for Coffee’s mission. We’re thankful for her willingness to step into the work—and we’re excited for what this adds to our capacity to serve more families well.

Please join us in welcoming Jessie to the Hope for Coffee team.
